Tax Staff – Entry Level
Job Summary
Entry level Tax Staff will be trained in the preparation of various types of income tax returns, both federal and state using various software tools. Tax Staff will prepare, more of the basic returns. This individual will also assist in non-tax engagements
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Detail oriented with excellent math skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Provides details to customers concerning the products and services that we offer
- Completes all related tax forms in accordance with IRS and company policies
- Ensure that we are in compliance with legislation and regulations.
- Follow up with customers for additional information (as necessary) to insure accurate completion of tax returns.
- Audits all tax return forms for accuracy and completeness.
- Researches tax related questions and issues as well as responding to customers appropriately and within a timely manner.
Qualifications
- High school Diploma or higher
- Experience 0-2 years
Preferred Skills
- Internet and computer savvy
- Experience in Microsoft office
